This totemic symbol is a noble animal with a strong presence in Northwest Coast culture. Eagles are recognized for their raw power, dignity and fierceness. They are also graceful, dramatic in flight and mate for life. This totem connects the deepest and most spiritually awakened form of relationships.
The paddle represents the journey of the tribes both for their livelihood and for meeting other area tribes. It is typically seen in hand carved cedar but represented here beautifully in hand carved sterling silver.
